Today’s Scripture:
Daniel 3:16-18 NIV
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. [17] If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. [18] But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
When we trust God and live for him no matter what, we are untouchable! I know you were sick last week, but you are untouchable; yes, you are untouchable. God's protection is with you, and it is for you. He says you shall live and not die to declare the works of the Lord. However, I have to let you know. God's not into the business of defending you when you do not serve him or reverence him.
The 3 Hebrew boys feared God; they referenced him, and they trusted in him. The Bible says, trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding; in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your path. When you do this, you become untouchable. These guys were untouchable. They had been in the presence of Yahweh; they knew him and had a relationship with him. The Bible says the people who know their God shall be strong and do Exploits. Untouchable, that's you.
May you live in such a way that you never give in to the pressure of this world to compromise because of your life or those who will hate you or turn their backs on you. You are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, that makes you untouchable because Christ is untouchable.
