How Do Album Leaks Happen?
One of the worst things someone can say to me is “I’m not an internet person”.
That’s like in 1992 saying “I’m not a book person”.
You are admitting to being ignorant and lazy.
We are never going to have a full grasp on technology.
It it always going to shape shift.
But if your business involves technology for you to get paid, you need to understand it.
Album leaks were a massive issue for about a decade.
Then artists starting using it to their advantage to preview songs/albums to see if the market liked it.
Now with streaming, you can remove and add songs instantly from projects.
All of those “I’m not an internet person” folks who denounced the technological advances in the music industry in the late 90s, are broke af now.
Those of you who complain about streaming and using @paypal to pay for shit, are going to stay broke af.
Adapt or perish.
