Joey Badass On Why You Should Take Risks In Life
We all gotta do it.
I haven’t achieved anything great in my life that didn’t involve taking a risk.
Risks are at the foundation of everything.
Risks are hurdles that are intentionally placed in your way to see if this is what you truly want to do.
They come in a variety of ways.
Mental, physical, spiritual, financial, sexual.
There’s going to be a risk that feeds right into your vices that will alter your life.
You have to confront the risk head on and make the best decision for you and your family.
If you try to avoid the risk, you are avoiding your dream.
And you won’t make it.
This is what happened to me with football.
I avoided the risk of being on a sad ass team for 3 years and my senior year it was essentially too late to play college even tho I had offers.
I vowed to never have that happen to me again.
That’s why I go so hard everyday.
That’s why I make so much content.
That’s I’m always in your timeline.
I refuse to let the risks push me out.
