I say this in a dozen videos.
Yet, those that get playlist placement still complain when they don’t get streams.
Why?
Because they don’t understand marketing.
Marketing is a risk.
And all of it doesn’t work.
I used to run a lot of Facebook and Instagram ads.
I have ads where I spent $200 and made $8000
I have ads where I spent $600 and made $0.
Do I blame Facebook or Instagram?
No.
Why?
Because I know it’s a risk and that ad didn’t work.
I adjust and come back.
If your song is getting streamed, it’s either
A) it sucks.
B) that audience on that playlist ain’t feeling it.
So go find other playlists.
Stop crying because you aren’t blowing up off of one marketing investment.
I’ve invested $50,000+ in my business at this point.
And that number is going to keep going up.
Because I know how to get a return.
