How does school work?

How does a job work?
You get paid.
You get told what to do.
If you don’t do what you’re told to do, you get fired.
Why when it comes to unpaid internships people act like they’re getting robbed?
Unpaid internships don’t cost you any money.
You get taught skills that can make you money.
And it’s a 3-4 month job interview with a company where you can show them how valuable you truly are.
Anyone who has done anything worthwhile out of the mud, started off unpaid.
The first time @kingjames hooped, he didn’t get paid.
The first Jay-Z went to the studio to make music, he didn’t get paid.
The first time @barackobama spoke in front of a crowd, he didn’t get paid.
@chadwickboseman didn’t get paid early on and look at his legacy.
I know what a lot of y’all are saying.
“I got bills to pay”.
We all do.
Including all of those people I named.
Yet, they figured out how to survive while gaining the skills that will pay them off in the long run.
We all have the same 24 hours in a day.
If you mismanage your 24 hours, you won’t have time to make money and learn skills.
Do a self-audit of where you are spending your time and take away hours from the things that aint:
1. Making you money
2. Teaching you skills that will make you money.
