How many times have you skipped a workout because you have no equipment or you can't get to a gym? Technology has truly helped our world stay on point with virtual training platforms like Peloton, but there is also another alternative - Bodyweight Training.
Bodyweight training will not give you the same strength gains as weights; however, studies are conclusive that you can get stronger. It's another tool in your toolbox. Many clients skip workouts because they don't have equipment or time - I say - NO EXCUSE!
I recently took a barre class that opened my eyes to the areas I have been neglecting with my regular regime. It was an OUCH ME moment.
So here's your bodyweight challenge - 3 rounds....
1. Jog in place - 1 minute
2. Squats - 20 reps
3. Pushups - (optional on wall) - 12
4. High plank (on hands) - 30 seconds
5. Jumping jacks - 1 minute
6. Lunges - 12 per leg
Rest minute - repeat 2 more rounds
