I can't believe it's taken me so long to talk about Cardio Exercise! The heart muscle is the engine of our entire body. The mind and heart work together, but without oxygenated blood from the heart, the other organs can not function at the top of their game.
Industry guidelines recommend 150 minutes a week of cardio exercise - I can't believe how many people of all ages still fall below this. Even as you age up into your 50s, 60s, 70s, - it's so important to exercise the heart and to stay strong for daily living and fun!
This week I talk about the heart, the parameters of cardio and I offer up a way to get started or up your game. This is Part 1 of a 2 part series.
