We are duking it out to decide if strength training should be done with heavy or light load? It's been a hot topic for years and now more and more studies are coming to the surface about training light load, high reps and STILL make strength gains.
Whoa - don't be a doubter, it's just a conversation. Lifting heavy, relative to who you are and how you move, is viable. But what if certain exercises cause you discomfort post-workout - do you quit? NO WAY - take a different path
Suppose you have joint issues, have never lifted weights - do you avoid it - NO WAY - there is a path for you.
The conversation is not new, I just want to shed the light on the benefits of BOTH.
Muscle strength is important for bones, for movement, for daily life, for balance, for walking - for living - it's time to take on Strength Training NOW - so let's see which path is right for you.
