Description

Jeff Stanfield and Andy Shaver are joined by Wayne Poage, who served as the Athletic Director at Dallas Baptist University from 1982 to 2003, during which time DBU became a powerhouse in collegiate baseball—so dominant that top NCAA programs eventually refused to schedule them.

Wayne shares how he and his staff built a winning culture at Dallas Baptist, the challenges smaller schools now face under the new NIL era, how travel baseball has reshaped recruiting across the country, and how college sports programs will have to change out of their old ways in order to succeed.
