Even though there is an increasing knowledge on unethical animal tourism today, there are still too many travelers who unknowingly participate in such activities. Our guest for this episode is Melisa, a Veterinary Technician and an Artist on a mission to make the world a better place for orphaned, injured and rescued animals. Here she shares with us about her experience of working and volunteering at different Animal Sanctuaries in Mexico, UK, Africa and the U.S, and from her experiences she gives us tips on how we can still be in contact with animals, but doing it in a way that is ethical, and respectful for them.
