šŸŽ™ļø Ep. 163: Health and Hype with Dr. Rafid Fadul, Ep 163 šŸŽ™ļø

From the world of economics to the ICU, Dr. Rafat Fadul has lived two remarkably different lives—one rooted in finance, the other on the frontlines of medicine. In this thought-provoking episode, he shares what pulled him away from chasing profits and toward a mission to fix what’s broken in our healthcare system.

As Co-Founder and CEO of Zivian Health and Chief Medical Advisor at Cenegenics, Dr. Fadul brings a wealth of experience—and a no-nonsense perspective—that cuts straight to the heart of the issues.

Together, we unpack some hard truths about the system, the emotional toll on providers, and where the future of medicine is headed—if we’re willing to make the change.

šŸ”„ 4 powerful takeaways from this episode:

🧠 Mental health isn’t optional. Our healthcare workers are burned out and broken, and the system is failing to support their emotional well-being.

šŸ“ Where you live = how long you live. Healthcare inequities are real, and your zip code often predicts your access to care—and your lifespan.

āš–ļø Tech can help, but it can’t replace compassion. The future of medicine depends on finding balance between AI and authentic human connection.

šŸ’Š Cutting-edge mental health therapies like ketamine treatment are offering hope where traditional models fall short.

šŸŽ§ This one will shift how you think about healthcare—from both sides of the bedrail.
