Greg Gilman is a singer, songwriter and writer based in Los Angeles, California, originally from the Philadelphia area. He founded Writers ‘Round: Los Angeles, which has inspired other chapters of the songwriter round showcase around the country. He writes for various publications including Variety, MovieMaker Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine and more publications. He is also the founding member of GREG IN GOOD COMPANY.
Greg in Good Company is rock n roll full of heart and soul. Cinematic melodies paired with heartfelt lyrics and irresistible harmonies have become hallmarks of the LA-based band’s unique sound—a mix of alternative, folk, country, pop and soul—topped off by Greg’s raspy and dynamic vocals, drawing comparisons to ThE Lumineers, Bruce Springsteen, and Marcus Mumford. Since releasing LP “American Way” in 2018, the band has caught the attention of American Songwriter, No Depression, and radio stations across the country, including LA’s independent rock station 88.5 FM The SoCal Sound. With a second album on the way, the band is ready to ride a wave of interest in timely Americana exploding out of Southern California.
GIGC’s next single “Home” starts streaming on all platforms on April 14, and the band’s sophomore album, “Quiet Days and Quiet Nights” will be released on June 9.
