A Ana começa por recomendar um livro sobre uma empresa americana bastante… doce. O livro intitula-se ‘Hershey: Milton S. Hershey’s Extraordinary Life of Wealth, Empire, and Utopian Dreams’ (2006), escrito por Michael D’Antonio, sobre o empresário do chocolate e filantropo Milton Hershey.
Recuperando más memórias, o Tomé sugere, ainda assim, ‘What Happened’ (2017), de Hillary Clinton. O livro leva-nos para a campanha presidencial de 2016 e para as explicações que a candidata dá sobre o que poderá ter corrido mal.
Na segunda parte, a Ana e o Tomé percorrem algumas recomendações de leitura que nos permitem obter uma visão mais completa e longitudinal dos Estados Unidos.
