Description

Co-hosts Tamara and Charisse wade into more controversial territory by candidly discussing prayer: Who do you pray to? Who needs to pray? Why should we pray? When and where to pray? They even look at whether people who pray believe in answered prayer. Join them!!

Neither Tamara nor Charisse profess to be experts, just Christian women serious about their faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Tamara is a retired journalist and college professor who lives outside Washington, D.C. in Upper Marlboro, Md. Charisse works as a hospital administrator in Baltimore, Md. Years of biblical study inside and outside of churches, at seminars, conferences and at home convinces these women that they know enough to share with others.

"Prayer has to be where we go to first, not as a last resort," Charisse shares. "If it's important enough to worry about, it's important enough to pray about."

She continues that prayer helps us to be "spiritually in shape," ready for whatever Satan or the world throws at us. If we are praying daily, constantly, we'll be ready before the battle.

Helpful scriptures to read and study include Psalms 3, 4, and 40; and, Matthew 6: 5-13.
