Morelys is a rising Senior at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland majoring in Multimedia Journalism, Digital Communication and Media. She spent her summer interning on Capital Hill as a part of the Summer 2024 Cohort for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. An award winning organizer, tv/radio host, poet, and storyteller; Morelys recognizes the most important title to her above all is that of being human. She joins us to discuss her journey in higher education and her personal story on navigating adversity through the arts and advocacy.
