What's up, Doc? I mean, ATA Listeners? On this week's episode of Across The Airwaves things got kind of looney with us actually liking the midseason of Revolution. Yeah I know, we might sound like we've really gone off our rockers on that one but my use of the word looney is about much more than that as we witnessed characters on our favorite shows for this week acting like a bunch of Toons as in cartoons by doing some pretty funny but wacky stuff. First of all, we had Modern Family's Cam get caught hanging from a tree in a costume from the musical Cats, then we had Ryan get in a old man fight with a blind man on Go On and Dean Winchester actually got to somewhat be a cartoon character as a psychokinetic man's abilities gave him a first-hand experience of the great film "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?". However, what I think completely stole the show on the term looney was this week's Big Bang Theory where we got some hilarious scenes with both Sheldon and Howard getting naked over wanting the rights to a parking spot, which was made even more looney by the fact that Sheldon doesn't drive.
Again, like with everything there's good looney and bad looney and boy did we get some things to roll our eyes at here as Once upon a Time had Captain Hook magically take a heart out of a character's body, Person of Interest featured a couple that took a hit out on each other over the wife having a miscarriage and Bones made the ridiculous decision to have Booth perform standup comedy while scaring the crap out of us that a beloved character was going to have an affair. Yep, that's a show that for sure needs to say that's all folks. In fact, with that line I'm going to take after the great cinema icon Porky Pig and use this as my exit leaving you to a episode that Nico described on Twitter as a great discussion supported by some excellent voicemail material from Woo.
