In this special episode Director Andy Behbakht is joined by his fellow podcast agents/your favorite hosts, Dan Schmidt and Nico Reifsteck for a roundtable discussion about the ABC/Marvel pilot, S.H.I.E.L.D. that is currently in production and being directed by the man responsible for shows such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse and one of the highest-grossing films of all time, Marvel's The Avengers: Joss Whedon!
In the episode, the three nerdy agents discuss the facts that has been released so far such as what the show is about, about the six main characters and the actors that will be portraying them, the people behind this project (writers, executive producers), in addition discussing the potential the show has as the show is connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, what familiar faces we might see on the show at some point. Highlights such as Nico gushing his nerd love for Felicia Day, Dan and Andy ranting about the status of a certain webcrawler in Marvel and much more! The episode also discusses about Across the Airwaves' very own S.H.I.E.L.D. podcast that is in pre-production as we wait for the official pickup at the ABC Upfront that will take place in May.
