What does it really mean to lead through service?
In this solo episode of Business Coffee Hour, I’m getting personal about a quote that has stuck with me since leaving the Army: “If serving is beneath you, leadership is beyond you.” From my days in uniform to coaching rooms and podcast studios, I’ve learned that real leadership begins when we put others first.
I’ll break down why servant leadership is more than a buzzword—it's a mindset that builds trust, transforms teams, and leaves a lasting legacy. We’ll talk about presence, active listening, and the powerful question that every leader should ask: “How can I help them succeed?”
Whether you’re running a team or running your life, this episode is your reminder that the most powerful leaders are the ones who serve.
