Description

Deuteronomy 8:2 says "Remember the long road by which Yahweh your God led you for forty years in the desert, to humble you, to test you and know your inmost heart -whether you would keep his commandments or not."  To better understand the text, we are going to delve into the meaning of humbling oneself, which in this context is equivalent to being docile and moldable.

Today God is asking you, are you willing to let yourself be molded? To abandon yourself into My mercy and recognize me? Moses asks his people to remember that God has dwelt among them in the middle of the desert, that place of trial and encounter. Place that God uses to speak to them, guide them and reveal Himself through signs and wonders. It is in that remote place where he sought intimacy, to be recognized in such a way that his law would not seem as an imposition but rather flow from His proximity. Today God also seeks to speak to your heart and establish a personal relationship with you. He is asks us to give ourselves the opportunity to get to know ourselves, to know Him and to let Him be God. He wants us to take the attitude of a child towards his Father. For us to see Him with affection, admiration and respect, fully trust Him, let ourselves be transformed by his Love and thus learn to live His commandments.

May the Lord open our hearts to His eternal love 🙏💕🕊️
