Description

When God invites the Israelites to take possession of the promised land, they rebel again against His orders, refusing to enter and disobeying His commands. Moses once again pleads for his community. In Deuteronomy 9:25 we find " I lay prostrate before the Lord those forty days and forty nights because the Lord had said he would destroy you." It is worth clarifying again that God never wants the destruction of his children, but on the contrary, he wants us to reach eternal life.

Today God is asking you, how many times are you willing to advocate for your brothers and sisters?  Moses does not advocate for his brothers just once, but through his entire journey through the desert. In his conversations with God in those 40 years of journey, something moves him to continue advocating for his brothers despite their rebellious actions. As we see number 40 as a time of preparation for a change, it is worth delving into the inner change of Moses. He who one day ran away in shame now is not afraid to advocate for his brothers. As Moses takes the first step to meet God going up the mountain, he is transformed by His Grace through each conversation, which leads him to a deep intimacy with Him. The Mercy of God himself begins to flow through Moses and  towards His people and it is this Love of God that flows in Moses that once again achieves salvation for them despite their continued rebellion. Today God wants to transform us in His Love in such a way that we can, like Moses, cling to His mercy to advocate for our brothers and sisters regardless of their flaws so that through His Grace we may achieve their salvation.

May the Lord open our hearts to His eternal love 🙏💕🕊️
