Description

Moses' plead continues to move the hand of God, who commands him to make a visible sign of His alliance with a wooden ark and the two stone tablets where God Himself wrote His law. Despite the rebellion of the Israelites, God continues to dwell with them on their journey through this symbol, even after they make the decision to part separate ways. In Deuteronomy 10:10 Moses says "Now I had stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights, as I did the first time, and the Lord listened to me at this time also. It was not his will to destroy you." And right after this God invites them to finally take possession of the land that He swore to His parents.

Today God is asking you, what attitude do you take when everything seems lost?  When things don't go the way you expected?  Do you trust my times?  It is beautiful to see the mercy of God and how He acts with his people despite their betrayals and continued rebellion.  Moses is a great example of perseverance in prayer, since despite countless failures of his people, he continues to advocate for them with the certainty that God is always faithful to His promises. Moses fully trusts in God's Alliance and never stops demonstrating that he is willing to sacrifice himself for them even if it seems they don't deserve it.  Moses actions flow from the Grace of God and it is through this Grace that he is capable of offering continued reparation for his brothers.  It is this God revealing himself through Moses reaching His people and fulfilling His promise. Today he wants to do the same through us. That by knowing Him more intimately we are moved to imitate His actions and let ourselves be transformed by His Love.

May the Lord open our hearts to His eternal Love 🙏💕🕊️
