Description

This episode deals with the 70's band Cold Blood. This was a brass heavy, blues based, super funky, female fronted band from San Fransisco that never got the amount of recognition they deserved. Lydia Pense was the vocalist of this band and had a voice easily comparable to the great Janis Joplin.

Check out this live clip from the Winterland Ballroom in SF from 1973
