Michael got asked what should have been a simple question: “What is the gospel?” This leads Michael and Bailey into an exploration of the proto-gospel, Jesus’ gospel message, and some end times angelic preaching. The theme that consistently emerges through these threads is the final judgement and destruction of this present evil age and the coming (and also present) kingdom of God.
**Note of correction - Michael says in the episode that “thousands” died from the snake bites in Numbers 21. However, the text doesn’t actually say how many died.
