Dr Neena Verma is an “Appreciative Inquiry” Thought Leader with international acclaim. She is a “Grief & Growth” Specialist; “Resilience, Wellbeing, Purpose, Transitions, Meaningful Ageing & Post-traumatic Growth” Coach; and Journal & Poetry Therapy Coach & Facilitator.
Neena counsels, coaches, trains and volunteers for ‘Grief & Growth’, Resilience, Purpose & Meaningful Transitions including Ageing. Her work is rooted in appreciative inquiry, ‘meaning-reconstructive grief therapy’, journal & poetry therapy, logotherapy, compassion-based practices and positive psychology. She combines her subject-matter expertise with the wisdom distilled from her long professional practice, and her own grief journey as a bereaved mother.
As well as writing and editing extensively, Neena has authored two books – Grief ~ Growth ~ Grace – A Sacred Pilgrimage and A Mother’s Cry ~ A Mother’s Celebration
Neena is ICF credentialed PCC level Coach, TAOS Institute Associate, and Professional Member of NTL Institute for Applied Behavioural Science.
Neena serves on the international editorial board of the ‘AI Practitioner’, the only international journal for Appreciative Inquiry; and on the international advisory board of the ‘World AI Conferences’. She also runs an independent library movement in India serving children from disadvantaged background.
