Dr. Kay Fontana is the founder of Healing Our Grieving Hearts and certified Life Force Coach and Grief Recovery Specialist. For more than 18 years she has worked as a life coach and has supported numerous individuals as a Grief Recovery Specialist since 2015.
Following the passing of her husband of 40 years in 2023, she recognized the significance of applying the tools she had been trained in to facilitate her own healing journey. As a certified Life Force Coach, she assists individuals in navigating the path of grief recovery, discovering their purpose, and incorporating energy healing and spiritual support to achieve holistic well-being following one or more losses.
With an extensive background in grief support and a deep commitment to helping others during their most challenging times, she brings a diverse range of experiences and qualifications to her work as a Life Force Coach. Alongside this role, she is also a Licensed Spiritual Practitioner and wrote her doctoral dissertation focused on Mindfulness and Compassion of Hospice Dementia Care Volunteers.
Her previous experiences include facilitating grief support groups for both adults and children, serving as a firefighter and paramedic, and being a member of Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) teams for various emergency services agencies. She has also had the privilege of training 9-1-1 dispatchers and hospice volunteers, further enriching her understanding of supporting individuals in their times of need.
