In today's episode I am talking the beauty of NATURAL Black hair. Not as a way to sway Black women who don't have natural hair, but more so to encourage everyone to love and accept the Black woman who decides to rock her natural hair. I share my experience with being natural and what it means to me (and most likely others who are natural). Take a listen to this episode and make sure to leave a review to let me know what you think. For the cultural tidbit, as usual you can look up more information on Mary Ann Shadd Cary or Bessie Coleman. In addition to this cultural tidbit, I also encouraged listeners to read an article I found on Natural Black hair and the importance of accepting it in the workplace. You can find that article here: https://www.essence.com/awards-events/2019-essence-festival/dove-crown-coalition-petition-crown-act/ Feel free to check out all the other things happening with my business below.
