Description

In today's episode I talk about the cultural bind I am in regarding the medical care of my daughter. I share what it is like to be Black in a society where many helping professionals don't look like us. I talk candidly about my thoughts, and the new found difficulty that comes with being a Black parent and making cultural decisions that can have an impact on my Black baby. For the cultural tidbit, I encourage listeners to take a read of the following article by Dr. Corey Williams (https://bloomintoyourbestself.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=2a3018247e9ddc69d4f04b7ab&id=a069f67207&e=8799c392ce ) its an excellent article. You all can also look up more information on the two Black women mentioned in the podcast: Dr. Ida Gray and Elizabeth Taylor Greenfield) Feel free to check out all the other things happening with my business below.
