Description

Matthew’s guest on the final episode of season two is Dr Joe Oliver. Joe is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and director for Contextual Consulting, an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) based consultancy company in the UK, offering training, coaching and therapy. He is also an Associate Professor and overall Programme Director for the University College London Severe Mental Health Problems Post Graduate programme.
Joe is the author of a number of books, including  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy & Mindfulness for Psychosis, and the self-help book, ACTivate Your Life. 
Matthew and Joe discuss his background and initial draw to psychology, what ACT is, finding acceptance amidst suffering, his experience of therapy, working within one’s own context and more!
