In this episode, the conversation with Nana is about the self care and growth that can be very useful to an artist. Nana also shares their experience on navigating spaces in the KL spoken word and arts scene. Towards the end of the episode, you get to also hear Nana’s poem “These Tits” and hear how it came to be.
Nana is the runner up for the Malaysian National Poetry Slam 2018 which was held at the Georgetown Literary Festival. Nana’s original poems and short stories have been published both locally and internationally (USA and Indonesia). With an avid interest in education through poetry and arts, Nana has also been teaching in Malaysia and even all the way in Brunei.
