This is our segment we like to call Gone Too Soon, this is about shows that ended before we were ready for them to, and sometimes before they were ready to end. Our first Gone Too Soon is the epic and MOST culturally relevant show PEN15, it only had two seasons on Hulu but it was so impactful and we wanted more!
Everyone remembers 12-13 years old, maybe fondly, maybe not.
What we do know is that PEN15 perfectly encapsulates 7th grade in a very REAL way!
Come with us while we discuss the show and our own early teen years; from the perspective of someone who was this exact same age at this exact time the show is taking place. And also from the perspective of a xennial who's experience wasn't much different aside from the chat rooms and AIM.
Regardless of where you are generationally though, you can probably relate to this perfectly perfect cringe-comedy.
