In this episode we are talking about the critically acclaimed HBO series Watchmen, based on Alan Moore's graphic novel. It was created by Damon Lindelof and as you know we are big fans of his stories and adaptations.
This isn't just a superhero story though; for one it has a black female as it's lead in a superhero story which we love and has never been done before. The story itself is a complex narrative about race, history, and justice.
We talk a little about the original story from the graphic novel and movie; it's tones, themes and characters that return in the show.
We talk as always of the incredible ensemble cast that they had for this show with Regina King being the cherry on top of that.
