On Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 8pm the LAJFF will have a Los Angeles premiere for the new feature film "TRUST" at the Lumiere Cinema at the Music Hall in Beverly Hills. Tickets at $18.00. The film centers around three siblings attempting to reconcile over their mother’s death but are torn between mourning and greed. Family isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. The film is the winner of the Best Feature (New Visions) and Best Drama (Audience Award) | Cinequest Film & Creativity Festival 2022.
MEET JENNIFER LEVINSON
Jennifer was selected as a 2020 TRIBECA NOW Participant at
Tribeca Film Festival. Her written and produced content has amassed over 300
million views across BuzzFeed Video, VRScout, and CryptTV. Jennifer's writing
portfolio includes branded work for Sony Pictures, Target, Rue21, and
NatureMade, amongst others. As the first female staff-writer on the scripted
show SOLVE, Jennifer wrote over ten viral episodes. In fact, her episode,
"Poisoned Popstar," obtained over nine-million views. Jennifer prides
herself on spotlighting dynamic, female characters.
Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Chapman University, and she's a
graduate of Second City Conservatory. Her acting credits span across
television, film, digital, and voiceover, and she's gained an international
following on her social media platforms.

MEET ALMOG AVIDAN ANTONIR
Almog is an Israeli-born, LA-based writer/director with sensibilities for both the dramatic and the comedic. He received a BFA in Film Production from Chapman University. While in college, he co-founded the YouTube channel Almost Cool Films, featuring narrative shorts that have collectively garnered over 130K subscribers and millions of views. Following the success of the channel, Almog went on to direct commercials and original branded content for brands such as Toyota, Bud Light, Sony Pictures, Lionsgate, and Invisalign, to name a few.
Almog’s films have screened at numerous international film festivals, including Academy-accredited LA Shorts Film Festival and Academy-accredited Nashville Film Festival. His PSA about gender non-conformity, “My Heroes”, was featured in AdWeek, CBS News, and BuzzFeed, among others. His horror-comedy short, “Teddy Bears Are For Lovers” was featured on Short Of The Week and Blumhouse-backed Crypt TV. “Teddy Bears,” the feature film, is currently in pre-production with a growing team that includes Gremlins’ Joe Dante.
Almog recently directed his first feature film, Trust, in March, 2021. The film is a drama that tells the story of three siblings trying to cope with their mother’s suicide, torn between mourning and greed. Trust is the winner of the “Best Feature: New Visions” Jury Award and “Best Feature: Drama” Audience Award at Cinequest Film Festival. The film is slated for a 2023 release.
