Eastside’s inclusive posture is not a modern invention but is deeply rooted in the practice of spiritual discernment revealed by the early church in Acts chapter 15. This first leadership council puts on display for us a model of how we can work through challenging, confusing and complex theological problems as the Church and come to ecclesial practices we believe to be in sync with God’s will for us today.
