In this special we speak with Valencia Alvarez who was recently a Masters of Public Health student at Washington University in St. Louis and is a Community Organizer for migrant justice with Migrantes Unidos (https://www.migrantesunidos.com/). Alvarez is originally from Southern California and her family is from Mexico.

Alvarez is in legal limbo after being arrested at WashU during a Palestine Solidarity Encampment. She has also been told her degree will not be conferred to her until December. In this special we discuss her situation, the experience of the encampment at WashU and the ongoing struggle for Justice for the Palestinian People and all oppressed people.
