In celebration of National Volunteer week, Kat sits down with Janet McCarty, who is a local community member, and super volunteer. Janet volunteers at multiple organizations in the area, including Thumbs Up, CAER, United Way, MOPS, KTIS. During National Volunteer Appreciation Week, we wanted to chat with Janet to hear about why she volunteers, and why she feels volunteerism is so important to our local community.
