Life FM loves to highlight local people and groups making a difference in the community.
One such organisation is Hope and Help, which is a food bank service running in Leongatha and Mirboo North.
While the service is being use by people struggling to meet rising costs, the recent storm which ripped through Mirboo North increased the short-term need for Hope and Help.
Last week, Gippsland Perspective host David Braithwaite caught up with Les Harmer from Hope and Help Mirboo North to talk about the service.
