The California Reparations Task Force has formally recommended payments of up to $1.2 million to every qualifying black resident of the state. This wasn’t enough for some residents, however, who demanded as much as $200 million per black person. Is this anything but insane, and do any black people living in 2023 deserve reparations at all?
