Kathy Woods is the ultimate tennis professional. She is in the USPTA Hall of Fame and she is the director of her tennis consulting company called Woods Coaching Strategies.
Kathy was the director of tennis at the USTA National Campus during their first 3 years, not to mention COVID years. Prior to that, she was the Director of Tennis at the Racquet Club of St Petersburg for many years.She served as the first woman president of the USPTA back in 1994. She played for the University of Pennsylvania and graduated summa cum laude. She is also in the University of Pennsylvania Tennis Hall of Fame. She and her husband co-authored the book “Playing Tennis After 50.”
We touched on some interesting points regarding the compensation for tennis pros, being a female pro, and it was interesting to learn about her leadership style and career path!!
