About our guest of today:

Born and raised in Italy, at the age of 21 he moved to Australia where he began practicing Ashtanga Yoga under the guidance of Eileen Hall for about 6 years. There he began his studies at ACSF college in Sydney where he obtained a diploma in sport science and a diploma in remedial therapy. While working in a sports clinic mainly on injury rehabilitation, he began teaching yoga in 2015. In February 2018, during his first trip to India he began to delve into the study of somatic movement, based on the Embodied Movement model and alignment-based yoga, under the guidance of Sri Parveen Nair. In 2018 he moved to China to teach yoga where he opened a yoga center in Shenzhen called Yoga Sadhana. Along with in-depth studies of anatomy & physiology and biomechanics, Federico undertook the study of Vedantic philosophy with particular attention to Advaita Vedanta. Federico learned the traditional way of Ashtanga Yoga under the guidance of Eileen Hall and has incorporated elements of body alignment and biomechanics into traditional sequences in his guided classes. Since 2020 he begins to focus deeply on the development of the practice of Embodied movement Yoga which allows him to rediscover the practice of Asana in terms of Movement Meditation. He shares this discipline focused on body alignment also to optimize injury prevention and recovery of functional movement. His Yoga lessons are based on the understanding of natural movements, not through the mechanical use of a standard, but through movements of the spine and pelvis that allow you to renew and rediscover the relationship with introspective and functional movement.

In recent years he has taught regularly in Italy, China, India, Switzerland and shares workshops in Italy and abroad.
