About our guest of today:
My name is Jules McDonald, and yoga is more than my profession—it’s my purpose. I am a Yoga Practitioner, Teacher, Teacher Trainer, a former Yoga Studio Owner, and Author of the book, Savasana Reads, a heartfelt collection of short meditation scripts designed to inspire and deepen the practice of presence. I’ve spent my life traveling through different spaces—physical and spiritual—learning from every experience along the way. With over a decade of yoga practice and teaching experience, I now know that yoga is more than just poses—it's about creating space for people to explore themselves, heal, and grow in a community that feels like home. Whether it's through carefully crafted sequences, deep mobility drills or stillness and meditation, my ultimate goal is to guide students into finding their own rhythm, their own flow.
And as my journey evolved, I’ve seen the struggles yoga teachers face (which I have experienced myself as well)—hesitations in cueing, the overwhelm of structuring classes, and the yearning to connect authentically with their students. These challenges are universal, and they inspired me to create a system—a simple, empowering approach to teaching that’s rooted in clarity, confidence, and connection. This system has transformed my own practice and teaching, and now, it’s my mission to share it with my fellow yoga teachers. I believe that in this modern world of teaching yoga, we can all lift each other up, refine our craft, and remind the world of yoga’s transformative power.
