Today I saw a car windscreen car shade. These are very useful to protect the steering wheel of a parked car from getting too hot on a very sunny day. They are not necessary when there is no intense sun and are, of course, totally unnecessary and in fact totally dangerous when driving!
So, this one object can be vital, unnecessary or dangerous. With this analogy in mind, trust God on the timing of His provisions. Psalm 23:1-3: "The Lord's my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake". As those words indicate, God provides for us perfectly. For example, sometimes it is necessary to be still. Other times we are on the move and He is guiding us.
