The seemingly simple cauliflower is one of many examples in nature that follows an amazing pattern, discovered by an Italian mathematician called Fibonacci. If you look at the centre of the cauliflower it starts with one floret and then in a continuing spiral it has two florets, then three, then five (which is the figure derived from having added two and three together which are the last two numbers in the sequence), then the three and five are added to make eight (which were the last two numbers in the sequence at this point) and an increasing outer spiral image is created, with the adding together of the last two numbers each time, to the full size of the cauliflower. This sequence (0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21...) appears in many other vegetables, fruit, flowers and other aspects of nature. A flower's petals can often display this pattern. We can so easily miss God's precision in all His creation. He gave specific instructions to Moses in the building of the Tabernacle and to King Solomon in the building of the Temple. He has a perfect precision for your life too. Let's trust Him even if we don't understand His pattern for our life.
