Today I saw a musical chord of 3 notes with a reminder that 3 voice parts can sing simultaneously with different notes and yet create a beautiful harmony. This could give a reflection of the Trinity composed of God the Father, Jesus the Son and The Holy Spirit. Often in the Gospel accounts they seem to be separate persons, for instance when Jesus continually goes off to pray alone to His Father. The three Persons of The Trinity are in perfect harmony and want us to join them. So, let's not be discordant with the ways of God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit. In the gospel of John 14:15-31 Jesus provides His disciples with a detailed discourse on the Truth of God His Father, Himself and the Holy Spirit as operating together as One. A snippet is, "If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever - the Spirit of Truth. ... On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you" (John 14:15-17a; 20).
