Description

Today I saw some frothy cream as could be sprayed from an aerosol can. The frothiness is caused by lots of aeration. This moves me on to thinking of yeast as mentioned many times in the bible, with the air bubbles representing sin, other than on one occasion when Jesus shared a parable about the Kingdom of God being like yeast in dough which can positively impact its surroundings. As at the Last Supper, Jesus's body sacrificed on the cross is represented by unleavened bread, that is with no yeast and corresponding air pockets. Red wine represents Jesus's blood shed for us; the process of fermenting wine necessitates the complete elimination of air. In all 4 gospels Jesus was given vinegar to drink as He was dying. Vinegar, the cheap sour wine drunk by the commoners and soldiers, represents our sin as its manufacturing process requires oxygen. Nothing mentioned in the Bible is insignificant. Ask the Holy Spirit to oen your eyes to all the truths in the Bible. "Then you will know the Truth and the Truth will set you free" (John 8:32)
