Today I saw a picture of a frog. There is one mention of frogs in the Old Testament and it is in relation to an unwelcome plague (Exodus 8:3). Then, also, the one only mention in the New Testament appears in the book of Revelation in which Apostle John recounts Truths revealed to him regarding the future: "Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, our of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet" (Revelation 16:13). These are negative connotations of frogs and of course we can also have positive connotations as with the wondrous transformation from tadpole to frog. However, today's message is linked to frogs and darkness, Our guilt, shame, worry, fear etc can cause us to hide truths and then there are sinister sources that keep hidden. Let us bring everything to the Lord for Him to rewrite a good narrative, full of His Light and Truth.
