In the Bible, the right hand signifies honour and status. There are many verses telling us that God loves to take your right hand in His right hand. In so doing He is honouring you with His love and protection. For instance, God speaks through his prophet Isaiah and says, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed; for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand... For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you". (Isaiah 41:10 & 13).
