Description

I saw an image of a balloon being blown up, then leaving the lips of the person exhaling, floating up in the air and eventually falling. I subsequently saw a host of other balloons rising with their hot air, cooling and then dropping out of sight. We use the expression "hot air" to describe words that end up being revealed as having little truth or substance. We are bombarded by supposed truths that prove to be false or inaccurate. In contrast we have the Word of God, with many bible verses declaring it as forever true and valid. You may not like or want to agree with God's Word but can you say that any of it has been proven false? For instance, Jesus said He is the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no one comes to the Father except through Him. (John 14:6). You may think He is mad or a liar to say this but can you actually prove that those words are not true? Take time to at least consider God's Words.
