Today I saw a nest, reminding me of Jesus's parables in the Gospel of Matthew 13 in which He draws analogies between flourishing seeds and the Kingdom of God. In Verses 31-32 we read, "He told them another parable: 'The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches". How lovely to be a refuge for others, with our refuge being our counsel and declaration of the love of God for all of us, His creations, with our testimony as to how He is establishing us and making us fruitful from our small seed of faith.
