Description

A sextant is a nautical navigational instrument, used to measure the angle between the horizon and a celestial body such as the sun, moon or a star, enabling the calculation of latitude and longitude. We are told in the Bible of The Three Wise Men who had read and understood prophecies, and followed the Star that they knew would lead them from the Far East to the promised Saviour in Bethlehem, who we now know as Jesus Christ. We don't need to be learned people and/or with navigational instruments to know where God wants us to go next. With His Holy Spirit living in us He will lead us. We can simply ask for Wisdom. "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." (James 1:5)
