Today I was reminded of one of the very first pictures God gave to me, once I started following His son Jesus in earnest. It was a picture of me as a single yellow flower, in a field, with God leaning over me with great love; yellow flowers are my favourite. I then had another picture a few weeks on, with me again as a yellow flower but I am with a throng of other flowers and we are all surrounding God's throne in love and worship. I believe that this represented my growth towards trusting God and choosing to draw near Him with all his other followers. We adore Him and we know that all He guides us to do is for our ultimate benefit. It is so lovely to be with other followers. We want to echo John the Baptist's words that Jesus "must become greater; I must become less" (John 3:30). Similarly, Apostle Paul declared, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me" (Galatians 2:20). As I heard recently, "we become like him who we adore".
